As a warm up act for the coming push by industry, we’ve been keeping up our regular cycle of meetings with various Ministers across the country.
We’re finding Ministers are hungry to know whether there are solutions ‘in the pipeline’ for the A-Trailer problem.
At every meeting, we’ve said that we’re looking to see something happen ‘on the road’ by July 2012.
And we’re getting encouraging feedback that this is a problem Ministers want to see fixed.
The ‘Review of A-Trailer Charges’ announced by the NTC back in May this year is due to present its first results to the Ministers on 4 November this year.
We’ll be catching up with the NTC later this week to see how their work is progressing and to offer whatever help we can provide.
