Industry fights on, but protect your business: review your rates

Mark Sullivan, the ALRTA’s delegate to meetings of the Australian Trucking Association, will be participating in an ATA General Council meeting this week. Top of the agenda will be a discussion of industry’s hopes to see some softening of the recent charges decision.

A number of industry associations have already had their first contact with Ministers, and have expressed deep concern that the decision was too harsh. It looks like the whole industry will be working together, exploring every chance to win some improvements.

In the meantime, putting your business and your family’s income at risk by doing nothing is not the way to deal with this decision.

It’s time to think about reviewing your rates and to start talking to your customers.
