Effluent Code of Practice
The Effluent Code is a practical guide that assists livestock transporters and off-road parties to comply with their primary duty and other duties under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). It describes the controls that parties in the Chain of Responsibility can implement to minimise the risk of livestock effluent spillage in transit.
Safe Stockyard Design
Stockyards are equipment used in stock handling, but if poorly designed or maintained can increase the risk of injury to both handlers and stock. Good stockyard design and maintenance can help minimise the risks.
Developed by the Queensland Government, this film is a case study about safe stockyard design for the livestock industry featuring Australian Country Choice and Rob and Sarah Cook from Bundaberg

Ramp Guide
In July 2015, the Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association (ALRTA) published a national Guide for Safe Design of Livestock Loading Ramps and Forcing Yards.
The voluntary guide promotes safer workplaces for people in contact with livestock loading facilities and improves animal welfare outcomes.
